You and Us Heating & Air Conditioning is a growing residential and light-commercial HVAC company serving the Bronx, Westchester County, and surrounding areas. We handle HVAC repair, equipment replacement, boilers, furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, mini-splits, hydronic systems, water heaters, ductwork, indoor air quality, and preventive maintenance.

We're looking for a complete Lead HVAC Installer who can take an installation from equipment placement all the way through wiring, startup, and commissioning, without needing the owner onsite. This is not a ductwork-only or piping-only role.

What You'll Do

• Lead residential and light-commercial HVAC installations

• Install furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers, and hydronic equipment

• Perform ductwork modifications, equipment transitions, drains, and refrigerant piping

• Complete nitrogen brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, charging, and leak testing

• Perform high- and low-voltage wiring

• Work with control boards, thermostats, communicating systems, and safety circuits

• Independently start up and commission equipment

• Test airflow, temperature split, static pressure, and system performance

• Diagnose and correct installation or control problems

• Complete startup sheets, photos, and installation documentation

• Conduct professional customer walkthroughs

• Lead and train helpers and part-time installers

• Keep jobsites, company tools, and equipment clean and organized

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience

• EPA Universal certification

• Strong electrical, control-wiring, and troubleshooting ability

• Able to complete an installation and startup independently

• Experience with furnaces, boilers, central air, heat pumps, and mini-splits

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

• Light-commercial experience

• Hydronic air-handler and boiler experience

• Combustion-testing experience

• Experience leading and training installation crews

Hiring Process

Initial phone screen, a short virtual interview with the owner, an in-person interview in the Bronx, and a hands-on technical assessment covering diagnostics, wiring, startup, and troubleshooting.
