About Reynolds Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air
With nearly 65 years serving our community, Reynolds Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is a family-owned company built on quality, integrity, and accountability. We believe strong teams are built through consistent leadership, clear expectations, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
We're not looking for someone to simply "manage" a department. We're looking for a leader who builds one. This role is for an HVAC Service Manager who has already proven they can develop technicians, drive performance, and hold a high standard in a fast-paced residential service environment. You'll be responsible for shaping the culture, performance, and results of our HVAC service team. If you're looking for structure without accountability, this is not the role. If you're looking to build something better and take ownership of results, we'd love to talk with you.

$90,000–$110,000 base salary depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied directly to gross profit and team results.

Position Overview
You'll lead our residential HVAC service team with a focus on performance, quality, and customer experience. This is a field-driven leadership role: you'll be in the trucks, in the homes, and in the day-to-day coaching of technicians, working in partnership with dispatch, support teams, and company leadership. The expectation is simple: raise the bar and help people perform at a higher level than they thought possible.
What You'll Do
Lead from the field through ride-alongs, coaching, and real-time feedback
Develop technicians into confident, consistent performers through field coaching and accountability
Reinforce expectations around sales, service quality, and customer communication
Identify and correct performance gaps quickly and directly
Own service performance outcomes including revenue, margin, conversion, and customer satisfaction
Hire, onboard, and retain high-quality technicians, partnering with recruiting to attract and select top-tier talent
Manage daily execution of service operations in partnership with dispatch and support teams
Hold regular team meetings focused on performance, standards, and growth
Ensure technicians are following processes, safety standards, and service expectations
Use data and reporting (ServiceTitan) to drive performance and decision-making
Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Work cross-functionally with leadership to drive business goals and profitability
What We're Looking For
We're only interested in leaders who have already operated in a high-performance service environment.
5+ years of HVAC service technician experience
3+ years in a leadership or management role within residential HVAC or home services
EPA certification (required; additional certifications a plus)
Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing technicians
Strong technical HVAC knowledge and field credibility
Proven track record of improving team performance and driving results
Ability to hold accountability without losing trust or respect
Strong communication and decision-making under pressure
Experience with ServiceTitan or a similar platform (strongly preferred)
Comfortable being in the field daily, not a desk-based manager
What Success Looks Like
Technicians perform at a higher level than they thought possible
Service revenue, margin, conversion, and customer satisfaction improve
Performance gaps are identified and corrected quickly and directly
High-quality technicians are hired, onboarded, and retained
Technicians consistently follow processes, safety standards, and service expectations
The team runs on a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Data and reporting drive clear, timely decisions
