About the Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing the company’s HVAC, electrical, and plumbing sales operations. This position oversees sales performance, develops customer relationships, manages sales staff, and drives revenue growth while ensuring excellent customer service for residential and commercial clients.
This role combines leadership, coaching, operational collaboration, and business development within a fast-paced home services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
Lead, train, and motivate sales representatives and comfort advisors
Generate new business through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Prepare and review estimates, proposals, and service agreements
Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and conversion rates
Work closely with operations and field teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Analyze market trends and identify business growth opportunities
Maintain CRM systems, reporting, and accurate sales records
Qualifications
3+ years of sales management experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or home services
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Knowledge of residential and commercial service industries
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with service agreements and maintenance plans
Estimating or project management experience
Business development and networking experience
Work Environment
Combination of office and field work with travel to customer and job sites as needed
Full-time position with occasional evenings or weekends based on business needs
