The Big Task Your primary responsibility is to help Tillman’s grow by creating qualified customer demand, strengthening our local brand and ensuring our marketing investment produces measurable results. You will own the marketing dashboard, manage outside agencies and vendors, create and launch campaigns, monitor the marketing budget and provide leadership with clear recommendations about where we should increase, reduce or redirect spending. This is a hands-on position. You must be comfortable moving between strategy, numbers, vendor meetings, campaign planning, content creation and day-to-day execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain an annual marketing plan and campaign calendar covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generators and maintenance memberships. Manage and monitor an annual marketing budget in the $250,000–$500,000 range. Track spending against the approved budget and provide accurate monthly forecasts. Build and maintain Tillman’s master marketing dashboard. Reconcile vendor and agency reports against ServiceTitan leads, booked calls, completed jobs and revenue.Measure qualified leads, booked calls, cost per lead, cost per booked call, customer acquisition cost, revenue and marketing return. Analyze results separately by service line, campaign, source and market. Recommend where Tillman’s should increase, reduce or discontinue spending. Manage relationships with digital agencies, media partners, printers, community organizations and other marketing vendors. Hold vendors accountable for deadlines, deliverables, tracking accuracy and results. Develop campaigns that generate demand for HVAC replacements, service calls, plumbing, electrical, generators and membership programs. Create and coordinate content for social media, email, text messaging, direct mail, websites, landing pages and community promotions. Keep Tillman’s messaging consistent, local, personal and aligned with our “We’re the one” brand. Support reputation management, customer-review generation and timely responses to online feedback. Identify new marketing opportunities, partnerships, community events and media channels. Develop recruiting campaigns that generate qualified applicants for technicians, installers, salespeople and office positions. Work closely with the general manager, call center, service managers, sales team and recruiting staff to connect marketing activity with operational capacity. Present concise weekly updates and a complete monthly marketingperformance report. Maintain accurate campaign documentation, tracking numbers, source codes, URLs and other attribution tools. How Success Will Be Measured Your performance will be evaluated using business results, not vanity metrics. Key measurements will include: Marketing spending versus the approved budget Accuracy and timeliness of forecasts and reports Percentage of leads with reliable source attribution Qualified leads and booked calls by service line Cost per qualified lead and cost per booked call Marketing-generated revenue and gross-profit contribution Return on advertising spend and return on marketing investment Campaigns launched accurately and on scheduleMembership growth and campaign-driven retention New customer reviews and overall reputation performance Qualified recruiting applicants by source Ninety-day retention of employees generated through recruiting campaigns Quality and timeliness of recommendations presented to leadership What We Are Looking For Three or more years of hands-on marketing experience preferred. Experience managing marketing campaigns, budgets, vendors or agencies. Ability to read performance data, identify trends and turn findings into specific recommendations. Working knowledge of digital and traditional marketing, including paid search, social media, email, text messaging, direct mail, websites and local promotions. Experience with ServiceTitan or another CRM is strongly preferred. Home-services, multi-location or local-service marketing experience is a strong advantage. Strong writing, communication and presentation skills. Ability to create effective content while maintaining a consistent company voice. Comfortable working at both the strategic and tactical levels. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines and service-line priorities. Willingness to question poor results and hold vendors accountable professionally. Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively across departments. Commitment to honesty, customer-first service and doing the job correctly. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience and demonstrated results will be considered. The Marketing Manager will also participate in local community events, company activities and occasional offsite marketing projects as needed.
