HVAC Service Manager

Mohr Air Conditioning & Plumbing is one of Arkansas's oldest family-owned HVAC companies, proudly serving East and Northeast Arkansas since 1968. From our roots in Wynne, we've grown into Jonesboro and Searcy, and we now offer full-service residential plumbing alongside heating and air conditioning. About 90% of our new customers come to us through referrals from existing customers.

Why We Need You

We're hiring a Location Manager to run field operations at our Jonesboro location. You'll lead a team of 5–7 service technicians and installers, keep quality high on every job, and make sure every customer gets the Mohr experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has been a strong tech and is ready to build a great team.

Compensation

• $70,000–$100,000 per year salary, depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Lead all field service techs and installers at the Jonesboro location (5–7 people)

• Hold regular 1:1s and ride-alongs, coach on tough calls, and hold the team accountable

• Manage to performance KPIs in ServiceTitan

• Own quality, safety, and consistency on service and installation work

• Handle customer escalations and callbacks with care and professionalism

• Handle location admin: approve and submit timesheets, track team bonuses and spiffs, and coordinate with HR

• Work closely with dispatch, the operations manager, and our comfort advisors to keep the day running smoothly

• Run service calls yourself when the team needs it. This is a working manager role.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in service, installation, or both

• 1–2 years of leadership experience as a lead tech, field supervisor, or service/install manager

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

• Comfortable using numbers and reports to manage a team. ServiceTitan experience is a plus, but we'll train you.

• Experience in a Nexstar or similar process-driven shop is a plus

• EPA 608 certification

• Live within about 30 minutes of our Jonesboro shop

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
