What You’ll Do

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you’ll provide professional HVAC solutions directly to homeowners while delivering the high level of service MasterTech is known for.

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential heating and cooling systems

• Perform HVAC maintenance, tune-ups, and preventative service

• Troubleshoot HVAC systems and identify the root cause of issues

• Clearly explain system issues, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners

• Provide professional, friendly customer service throughout each service call

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle

• Work closely with customer service and dispatch teams to provide a smooth customer experience

• Complete accurate work orders, invoices, and service documentation

• Help train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced technicians

• Participate in ongoing technical training, coaching, and professional development

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed, including occasional weekends

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across residential heating and cooling systems

• EPA certification required, or willingness to obtain certification with company support

• NATE certification is a plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

• Self-motivated and accountable with a strong work ethic

• Positive, optimistic attitude and willingness to embrace change

• Open to feedback, coaching, ride-alongs, and 1:1 development

• Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
