Commercial New Construction Plumbing Foreman

Overview

Confidential is seeking an experienced Commercial New Construction Plumbing Foreman to lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. This field-based position requires someone local to Monroe who knows the upstate New York market; New York City residents are not a fit. Candidates should be prepared to provide examples of commercial worksite projects they have led.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing apprentices and journeymen.

• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

• Manage timesheets and field reporting.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial plumbing and related mechanical systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and jobsite inspections.

• Manage material inventory, order supplies, and verify proper use of construction materials.

• Use Procore for project coordination and documentation.

• Collaborate weekly with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate schedules and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of construction-plumbing experience with a strong background in commercial projects.

• Previous foreman or lead experience preferred.

• Strong blueprint-reading, schematic-interpretation, and mechanical knowledge.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to manage several priorities while maintaining high quality standards.

• Familiarity with Procore.

• Local knowledge of Monroe and the surrounding upstate New York service area.

Compensation and Benefits

- $39-$45 per hour.

• Full-time, on-the-road position based around Monroe, NY.
