Commercial Plumbing Foreman

Overview

Confidential is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. This is a field leadership role, not facilities management. The foreman will oversee skilled tradespeople, coordinate projects from start to finish, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of apprentices and journeymen.

• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project specifications.

• Manage timesheets and daily field reporting.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for commercial plumbing systems and HVAC integration.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.

• Manage material inventories, order supplies, and verify proper use of materials on site.

• Use Procore for project coordination and documentation.

• Collaborate weekly with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate schedules and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

- Extensive commercial plumbing and field-leadership experience; 15+ years preferred.

• At least 5 years of construction-plumbing experience on commercial projects.

• Prior foreman or lead experience strongly preferred.

• Strong blueprint-reading, schematic-interpretation, and mechanical-system knowledge.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage several priorities.

• Procore experience preferred.

• Pennsylvania plumbing license preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

- $39-$45 per hour.
