Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Summary:

In this commercial HVAC technician role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings throughout NYC. You'll diagnose and repair a variety of equipment, from cooling towers and pumps to RTUs, split systems, and more.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience

-Respond to service calls for repairs in commercial buildings in NYC for Maintenance, Repairs, & Installations

· Diagnose mechanical & electrical malfunctions

· Install, replace or repair equipment including calibrating thermostatic controls, worn/malfunctioning parts including but not limited to motors, compressors, coils, contactors, transformers, etc.

· Establish & maintain effective relationships with customers and their employees

· Working knowledge of wiring diagrams and blueprints.

· Prioritize safety procedures and adhere to company policies

· Ability to lead

· Preventive maintenance proficiency

· Experience in RTU’s, DX split systems, SCAV units, Ductless splits, Chillers, Cooling towers, water source heat pumps, etc.

· NYC FDNY Torch/Fire Watch certificates (F-60 / G-60)

· EPA Universal Certification

· Clean driving record
