We're looking for an experienced Sewer Install Crew Lead to lead excavation projects, mentor team members, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of craftsmanship.
What You'll Do
- Lead a crew in the repair and replacement of residential and commercial water and sewer lines throughout the Tri-State area.
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, jackhammers, boring machines, and other excavation equipment.
- Review job plans, locate information, and material orders before arriving at the job site.
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, managers, inspectors, and camera technicians throughout each project.
- Oversee the safety, productivity, and quality of work performed by the crew.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently while minimizing disruption to the customer's property.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company truck and equipment.
- Accurately complete job documentation and required paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent the Jolly brand with integrity.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and leadership training to continue growing professionally.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience leading sewer installation or excavation crews.
- Experience repairing and replacing residential and commercial water and sewer lines.
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, including excavators and skid steers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL is a plus.
- Required certifications are preferred, or a willingness to obtain them—we'll help you get there.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
