The Opportunity
As an Electrician Apprentice, you'll work as part of a crew to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with our engineering teams on how the product can be improved.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems for heat pump installations
- Calculate electrical loads and upgrade main panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Test electrical systems for functionality and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proficiency with modern technologies including smart panels and sub-panels
- Knowledge of current residential electrical building codes
- Competency with power tools and hand tools
- Blueprint reading and interpretation abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina for manual labor
- Unrestricted driver's license
Compensation & Benefits
- $24 - $28 per hour, full-time
