HireAligned is a recruiting platform and agency that helps home-services companies (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) hire faster. We screen inbound applicants by phone and forward the strongest candidates to our clients' hiring managers.
The Role
We are hiring part-time 1099 Contract Phone Screeners to call candidates, run a short structured screening conversation, take notes, and pass along the people who are a strong fit. You will work from a simple web dashboard that tells you who to call and gives you the questions to ask. This is not cold sales; these are people who already applied.
What you will do
Call candidates who have applied to our clients' open roles
Run a short, structured screening call (about 10 to 15 minutes) using our question guide
Take quick notes on each candidate
Recommend candidates for the next step and forward the strongest candidates to the hiring manager
Keep a consistent block of calling hours each week
Compensation
$50 per week base for 10 blocked hours of availability
$10 per scheduled screening call on your calendar
$20 bonus for every candidate you screen who gets hired
Quality counts: we look for a forward rate above ~20% (be selective, do not just pass everyone through)
Schedule
Part-time, fully remote
East Coast hours preferred, mornings and early afternoons
Flexible: a great fit for someone who can work early (for example, before the kids are up) or fit calls around another schedule
Who we are looking for
Friendly, clear phone presence and a good listener
Reliable and organized, comfortable keeping notes
Comfortable using a simple web tool
Available for consistent weekly hours
Recruiting, customer service, or front-desk experience is a plus but not required
