Position Summary

Halo Plumbing is looking for an experienced Service Plumber to join our team. This position is focused on diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs and replacements, and providing professional service to residential and commercial customers throughout the Greater Houston area.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in customers' homes and businesses. You should be able to accurately diagnose problems, explain your findings clearly, and complete quality repairs while maintaining a professional customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems

• Respond to service calls and accurately identify the root cause of plumbing issues

• Perform repairs, replacements, and installations as needed

• Troubleshoot leaks, low water pressure, clogged drains, fixture issues, and other plumbing problems

• Service and install water heaters and related components

• Perform drain cleaning and sewer-related service

• Perform plumbing work involving water lines, fixtures, piping, and related systems

• Perform gas line repair and service when properly qualified

• Complete emergency plumbing calls in a professional and efficient manner

• Provide customers with clear explanations of findings and recommended solutions

• Present repair and replacement options honestly and professionally

• Provide upfront, transparent information before beginning work

• Complete work safely, accurately, and in accordance with applicable plumbing codes

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and treat customers' homes and property with respect

• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and other team members

• Arrive on time and prepared with the tools and equipment needed to complete the job

• Strive to resolve issues correctly the first time and provide a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• Current Texas plumbing license appropriate for the position

• Previous hands-on plumbing service experience

• Strong residential plumbing experience preferred

• Commercial plumbing experience is a plus

• Ability to independently diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repairs

• Experience with common residential plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and water heaters

• Drain cleaning and sewer experience preferred

• Gas line experience is a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working independently in customers' homes and businesses

• Professional communication and customer-service skills

• Dependable, punctual, and organized

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass required background and employment screening
