We're hiring a Residential Service Electrician. Whether you're a licensed electrician or a skilled technician with a deep understanding of electrical systems, if you have good character and take care of homeowners, we'd love to talk to you.

Pay

• $60,000 - $100,000+ per year, based on experience and performance

• Your manager will walk you through our full pay plan in your interview

Schedule

• Typically 8 AM to 5 PM. It's the trades, so some days run longer than others.

• Techs also take turns on a rotating 12 PM to 9 PM shift that includes the weekend, followed by a 4-day weekend off.

What You'll Do

• Run residential electrical service calls across Greensboro and the Triad

• Diagnose and repair home electrical systems, including panels, breakers, junction boxes, and wiring

• Follow our Nexstar service process: perform a thorough evaluation, present options, and get the homeowner's approval before starting work

• Point out issues the homeowner may not know about and walk them through their options, including financing and maintenance plans

• Work alongside customer service and dispatch, and keep a clean, well-stocked truck

• Join morning meetings and ongoing training, and help mentor apprentices from our in-house academy

What We're Looking For

• Proven residential electrical service experience, including tracing lines and reading wiring diagrams

• An electrical license is not required, but thorough knowledge of local electrical codes is highly desirable

• Good character and a coachable attitude

• Willingness to learn and follow the Nexstar service system (no prior Nexstar experience required)

• A clean, insurable driving record and the ability to pass a skills test, background check, and drug screen

• ServiceTitan experience is a plus; we'll train you
