Comfort Advisor

The Comfort Advisor is a vital link in terms of revenue, reputation and success of the company.

Anyone performing in this capacity must have exceptional interpersonal and communication

skills. The Comfort Advisor’s job is to design a system (Heating, Cooling, IAQ) to meet the

desired comfort of the client.

★Primary Responsibilities:

● Responsible for designing a comfort system for the customers.

● Manage assigned leads through the complete sales cycle, including timely

follow-up, customer communication, and accurate documentation in ServiceTitan.

● Accountable for all paperwork: permits, equipment/material lists, financing,

rebate, any tax credits applicable, as well as ensuring collections of payment.

● Perform inspection of all duct work and calculations necessary for HVAC work as

well as calculations necessary for invoicing and financing.

● If temporary heating or cooling is required, it is the responsibility of the Comfort

Advisor to deliver and pick up equipment.

● Communicate and explain all guarantees and warranties to the customer.

● Participate in community events weekly/monthly and attend home shows as

required.

● Generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement,

and relationship building.

● Attend weekly meetings to discuss sales and review scorecard.

● Update knowledge consistently on changes with suppliers, technicians, and other

entities to ensure the company is maintaining industry standards, including but

not limited to brand specific training.

● Provide clear and accurate pricing information and explain available financing

options.

● Close sales and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.

● Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and

referrals.

● • Protect the confidentiality of customer, company, and proprietary business

information.

★Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

● Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to excel.

● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

● Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task.

● Ability to participate in a team environment.

● Must be professional at all times.

● Must be able to complete paperwork legibly.

● Ability to pass random drug screening.

★Educational/Certification Requirements:

● Valid driver’s license.

● GED or High School Diploma.

● At least 3 years of sales experience.

● Experience in HVAC industry preferred.

★ Physical Requirements:

● Occasionally lift 5-10 pounds.

● Ability to climb ladder for attic access

● Ability to traverse in crawl spaces

● Ability to work extended hours, nights or weekends.

● Regularly spends long hours sitting and traveling in a vehicle between

appointments.

★Measurables:

● Replacement system (Average install ticket) >$8,500

● Sales Closing Ratios (on average) >40%

● Self Generated Referrals >50%

● Annual Sales >1.5 million / $31,250 per week
