Eagle Pipe Heating & Air | Full-Time | Poulsbo, WA
We're looking for an experienced HVAC service technician ready to step into a lead role. You'll run the toughest service calls, be the go-to diagnostician when other techs get stuck, and help raise the bar for how our HVAC team works in the field. If you're the tech everyone calls when something doesn't make sense, we want to talk.
A real local job. Our work is concentrated on the west side of Puget Sound, so if you live on the Kitsap Peninsula or nearby, you're looking at a sane commute and your evenings back. No ferry rides, no I-5 grind.
What You'll Do
Lead HVAC service, diagnostics, and repair on residential and light commercial systems
Take on the hardest troubleshooting calls and be the last line of defense for the team
Mentor and ride along with newer technicians, and help them build their diagnostic skills
Set the standard for quality, safety, and customer experience on every call
Communicate clearly with homeowners about what you found and present repair and replacement options
Step in on installs and replacements when the schedule calls for it
Work with ownership on scheduling, callbacks, and keeping the HVAC side running smoothly
Keep accurate job documentation and service records in ServiceTitan
What You Bring
5+ years of professional HVAC experience, with a strong service and diagnostic background
EPA Section 608 Certification required (Universal preferred)
Deep troubleshooting skills across electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and controls
Working knowledge of furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless and mini-split systems, and air handlers
Experience training, mentoring, or leading other technicians
Commercial HVAC experience strongly preferred
ServiceTitan or similar field service software experience
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
A calm, no-nonsense attitude and a commitment to doing the job right
What We Offer
Compensation & Time Off
