All American Home Service is Southeast Alaska's fastest growing home services company, providing heating, plumbing, drain clearing, bathroom upgrades, and more. We started with one guy and a truck. Today we're a team of over 20 people, building a new headquarters in Juneau and growing fast.

The Role

We're hiring an Install Foreman to lead and grow our residential heating and plumbing installation department. This is a hands-on field leadership role for an experienced tradesperson who can lead people, solve the hardest problems on the job, hold a high standard for quality, and build a team that runs without you babysitting it.

Our install work is about 60% plumbing and 40% heating, with limited HVAC. You'll own the department day to day: hiring, training, quality control, troubleshooting, productivity, safety, and customer issues. As the department and company grow, this role has a clear path into broader operations leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead residential heating and plumbing installation, replacement, repair, and remodel work throughout Juneau

• Be the go-to technical escalation point for tough troubleshooting, install problems, and unexpected field conditions

• Work alongside your crew when needed to diagnose problems, show the right way to do it, and teach less experienced installers

• Perform field quality control, inspections, and code compliance audits, and make sure deficiencies get fixed

• Set and enforce standards for workmanship, code, safety, cleanliness, customer service, and job completion

• Drive productivity, job efficiency, and profitability while protecting quality

• Resolve customer and field issues professionally, going the extra step to make sure the customer is happy

• Hire, onboard, coach, and hold installers and apprentices accountable, leading a team scaling to 8+ direct reports

• Spot opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, and additional work where they genuinely help the customer

• Use ServiceTitan or similar software for scheduling, job tracking, timekeeping, and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Extensive hands-on experience in residential heating and plumbing installation, replacement, and repair

• Prior experience as a foreman, lead installer, field supervisor, service manager, or similar role where you trained people and held them accountable

• A hands-on leader who takes pride in mentoring and training a team, not just the best tech on the crew

• Strong diagnostic skills and the technical depth to help troubleshoot the biggest problems in the field

• Solid code knowledge and the ability to audit work for compliance

• Knowledge of boilers, forced-air systems, heat pumps, water heaters, and residential plumbing systems. HVAC experience is a plus.

• Ability to read plans and blueprints

• A team-first mentality and strong customer-facing communication

• Journeyman license or other heating/plumbing licensing preferred, not required. EPA certification a plus.

• ServiceTitan or similar field software experience preferred

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and able to pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

• Top-tier hourly base plus performance bonuses tied to team performance, efficiency, and department targets, with $80,000–$125,000+ total annual earnings

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, roughly 7am–5pm (in the shop at 6:45am for morning alignment and loading), with on-call and weekend work as demand requires.

Hiring Process

Quick phone screen, then an interview with our owner and a senior team member (in person or virtual), followed by a ride-along/skills check, background check, and drug screen.
